Outreach to Occupy Pittsburgh

We Greens agree with much of what the Occupy Pittsburgh movement stands for – transparency in government, grassroots democracy and people's power, protection of the environment, peace and prosperity for all peoples. Robert Piemme, secretary of the GPoAC, is organizing a trip to the Occupy Pittsburgh camp on Saturday, November 19th (the time is not yet set) to hand out Green Party papers and meet the occupiers. This is part of a friendly outreach to fellow progressives and environmentalists to let them know the there is a Green Party presence in Pittsburgh and that we support them.
